Romana contacted me with a familiar story… She explained to me that she had three young children and for some reason (I can’t imagine why) they had been so busy that they had neglected to get professional photos of their youngest little one who was close to one year old. It happens. Let’s face it, we all know how crazy it can be to juggle a career and a family life… If you are not doing it yourself than your bound to know someone who is.
Let me take a moment to implore those of you out there who have been putting off family photos too long. It’s kind of like exercise, you know you need to do it and you know it will take some time and coordinating but man, once you do it, you will look back and be so happy and proud of yourself when it is done!! My sessions are always lighthearted and fun. I just go with the flow… My strengths are making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. To me, this allows everyone to just be themselves and in turn makes the images just that much better!

I am so proud to be a part of this sweet little guys first studio photography experience! He, like all the newborns I photograph, needed a little convincing to get all sleepy and squishy… a few meals, heating pads, space heaters and soft music just wasn’t doing it. He simply needed some extra time to settle into picture mode… we waited patiently, caught up on everything since John and Tiffany’s wedding and finally, he was out! Here are just a few, enjoy!

I met Bethany and Adam back in 2006 during their search for a wedding photographer. I had the privilege of photographing their wedding on the ever popular wedding date of 07/07/07. I also got to meet and know Bethany’s sister through the wedding and following family session. Since then Bethany AND her sister have gotten pregnant! And on Bethany’s latest trip home from sunny California, I got to visit and photograph their beautiful baby boys! This is Lucas and Cole. Cole was chill and posed like a champ… Lucas needed a little help from Mama (I thought Bethany was going to pass out from all the Sssssssshhhhhhhhushing!) But it worked!
